AUT 26500 Steering Suspension & Alignment(4 cr.) Lecture-Lab: (3-3) (F) This is a lecture/lab course covering nomenclature and operating principles of steering and suspension systems. Emphasis is on skill development in servicing power steering systems, replacement of suspension components, and four-wheel alignment. The student will complete the ASE A4 technician exam, demonstrating knowledge of the skills necessary to diagnose, service and repair automotive steering and suspension systems. Prerequisites: AUT 16302 and AUT 17703 or instructor’s permission.
