CIS 21300 Ethical Hacking

This course explores the legal aspects of ethical hacking, analyzing vulnerabilities, scanning and system hacking.  Processes will be explained while students learn scanning, social engineering, and physical security, while analyzing vulnerabilities in web applications, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile devices, cloud computing and the Internet of Things (IoT).  Virtual labs will allow students to work with tools for and against system protection such as Malware, Sniffers, Denial of Service, Session Hijacking, IDS, Firewalls, and Honeypots. Prerequisite: CIS 20101
