Provides students and practicing managers with a full and practical review of essential human resource concepts and techniques, with a focus on using human resource practices to improve performance, productivity and profitability within the workplace. Topics include recruitment, placement, talent management, training and development, compensation, ethics, employee relations, labor relations, collective bargaining, employee safety and health and managing global human resources. Prerequisite or corequisite: BUS 10100 or BUS 10700.
