MTH 12000 Intermediate Algebra (4 cr.) Lecture-Lab: 4-0 Offered: F,W,S This course includes the study of the properties of real numbers, basic concepts of algebraic operations, solving and graphing linear and nonlinear functions, systems of equations, complex numbers, quadratic functions, factoring, rational expressions, and basic interpretations of tables and graphs of data. A graphing calculator is required. Prerequisite: Two semesters of high school Algebra I (“B” or better) or Algebra II (“C” or better), SAT/ACT scores, or MTH 07300 if taken previously.
