NUR 22418 Advanced Medical/Surgical II (8 cr.) Lecture-Lab: 4-11 Offered: F,W This course is designed to further develop medical/surgical concepts within the three domains of professionalism, patient-centered care, and health. Emphasis is place on concepts identified within the syllabus. The student will continue to apply evidence-based practice in problem solving, decision making and critical thinking for patient needs with a focus in advanced disease process. Clinical and simulation experiences are required in this course. Upon completion students will provide safe nursing care, incorporating the concepts identified in the course. (This course is currently being taught out for third and fourth semester nursing students). Prerequisite: Admission to the Nursing Program
