This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of Ultrasound Physics and instrumentation. This includes review of different transducer models, the propagation of sound waves, and the Ultrasound’s effect on the body. Prerequisite: Program admission. Corequisites: SON 10000, SON 10601, SON 11600, and SON 11700.
