SUR 10901 Surgical Pathophysiology

This course introduces the learner to human disease processes that prompt surgical intervention. Relevant anatomy will also be discussed as well as surgically treatable diseases and disorders specific to each body system. Relationships between cell pathology and disease will be examined. Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Surgical Technology program. Corequisites: SUR 10000  , SUR 10301  , SUR 10401  , SUR 10701 .
