MEC 20100 Programmable Logic Controllers

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), focusing on programming, operation, and interfacing within the RSLogix 500 ecosystem of hardware and software for various industrial applications. Students will develop industry-relevant skills in areas such as PLC orientation, operation, programming, motor control, discrete I/O interfacing, event sequencing, application development, timer instructions, and counter instructions. Prerequisites: MEC 10000 (or MEC 10200 and MEC 10300).
