HVC 20300 Commercial HVACR Systems II

This course will emphasize commercial and industrial HVACR systems and troubleshooting. Students will be able to describe various types of commercial and industrial HVACR systems. The course will cover 3-phase power systems, 3 phase motors, and motor control as they apply to commercial and industrial HVACR systems and equipment. Students will also learn the fundamentals of water-cooled condensers, cooling towers, evaporative condensers, fluid coolers, dry coolers, and chillers. Prerequisite: HVC 20200 Corequisite: HVC 20400.
