ELT 10501 Residential Electrical Systems

This course introduces students to residential electrical systems. Topics include National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) requirements, device boxes, box fill calculations, circuit breakers, fuses, grounding, bonding, electrical drawings, and residential wiring. Students will gain hands-on experience installing electrical services, grounding and bonding systems, wiring 3-way switches, installing GFCIs and receptacles, and performing other residential electrical applications.
