The Automation and Process Control one-year certificate program will prepare students to understand the fundamentals of automation in industry, the basics of process control, and the methodology of applying instrumentation technology to automation and process control. APC will further infuse knowledge and hands-on experience in data acquisition and management via use of instrumentation, human machine interface, controller applications, and predictive and preventative maintenance technologies to support process control in the lean manufacturing environment. Learning will be based on the latest industry best practices and utilization of lean manufacturing concepts and quality operating systems basics.
