The Industrial Automation and Controls Technology program teaches the skills for entry-level positions in automation-related jobs including robot installations maintenance, automation equipment installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and PLC programming. Students learn to install, maintain and repair the mechanical, controls, fluid power systems, electrical and electronic equipment in a wide variety of fields and industrial settings.
This program will be taught out for current students through the Fall 2024 semester. Students starting in the Winter 2025 semester should enroll in the DMIT2 Industrial Maintenance program.
