The Radiography program is a collaborative program offered in an agreement between Kirtland Community College and Mid Michigan College. The program is designed to prepare graduates to function as members of the health team in hospitals, clinics, government and military installations, industry, and public health. In addition to classroom instruction and experience in the laboratory, students will receive on the job practical education in radiology departments of local hospitals. Program graduates are eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification exam.
Students are able to take prerequisite and general education requirements with KCC prior to transferring to MMC for the program classes and clinicals. Students planning to transfer to MMC should first declare the Associate in Science and Arts degree, then work closely with their Kirtland and MMC Advisor to choose appropriate courses for transfer.
