This program is designed to prepare graduates for apprenticeships in alignment with the requirements for electricians in the State of Michigan.

General Education Requirements: 14-15 credits (240-320 classroom hours)
Technical Core Requirements: 20 credits (384 classroom hours)
Electrical Requirements: 21 credits (448 classroom hours)
Approved Electives: 5-6 credits (80-96 classroom hours)
- Select any APC, BUS, CAP, CIS, EDT, ELT, HVC, MEC, or WLD course until 60 credits are earned.
Minimum Program Credits: 60
Suggested sequence of courses:
Year 1 (Fall) - 17 credits
Year 1 (Winter) - 14 credits
Year 2 (Fall) - 16-17 credits
Year 2 (Winter) - 12-14 credits
