General Chemistry I provides a thorough discussion of the topics of atomic structure, stoichiometry, solutions and pH, gas laws, electronic configuration and bonding theories, the periodic tables, and liquids and solids. Prerequisites: Two semesters of HS algebra (“C” or better) or MTH 07300 (or requisite test scores) and a year of HS chemistry (“C” or better) or CHE 10000 or permission of the instructor.
