This course provides students with a component of extensive review of medical coding and billing skills. Emphasis is placed on advanced medical coding techniques and revenue cycle procedures with coding/billing office work experience virtual by simulation. Includes career research, resume writing, interviewing, networking and time management skills. Replaces HIT-29902. Prerequisites: Completion of all other required courses for the certificate, completion of all required courses with a minimum grade of C+, and overall GPA of 2.3, and permission of advisor.
