This course provides a historical survey of the origins and development of human communities from their prehistoric origins to the 16th century. Emphasis is given to similarities, differences, and interrelationships among selected societies, cultures, and civilizations. Prerequisite:  ENG 10305  or placement into ENG 10303 . (Humanities Credit)
