HIS 20100 United States History to 1865 (3 cr.) Lecture-Lab: 3-0 Offered: F,W This course is a survey of the history of the United States from its European background through the Civil War, with special emphasis on the colonial period and the Revolution, the rise of the federal system of government, the growth of democracy, territorial expansion, sectionalism and the Civil War.
