This program will be effective Fall 2019.

The Wood Technology one-year certificate program is a multi-faceted program that will introduce students to the aspects of the design and manufacturing of wood products. Students will learn the basics of wood science, sustainability, computer software, process optimization, controls, and manufacturing techniques that are commonly used in the wood products industry. A hands-on lab approach will be used throughout the program as a means of enhancing and enforcing the theoretical knowledge obtained throughout the program of study.
