BIO 21000 Microbiology (4 cr.) Lecture-Lab: 3-2 Offered: F,W This course provides a lecture/laboratory study of the major groups of microbes. The structure of the unicellular organism will be compared to the structure of multicellular organisms. Applications to medicine and ecology will be discussed. The course is designed for the liberal arts student as well as the health sciences student. Prerequisites: BIO 10100 or BIO 25000 and BIO 25100 (or BIO 23500 and BIO 23600 if previously completed) or permission of instructor. (Science Credit)
