AST 10300 Observational Astronomy(1 cr.) Lecture-Lab: 0-2 F,W,S This laboratory course is a hands-on introduction to astronomy and technology in the observational arena. The focus is on observational and experimental methods of scientific inquiry and the usage of basic analytical practices. The secondary focus will be on basic laboratory and safety skills. The curriculum is implemented through a combination of physical and observational laboratory exercises and experiments. This course, taken in tandem with AST-10200, meets the Michigan Transfer Agreement requirement of a laboratory science course. Prerequisite: MTH 07300 or higher math placement. Co-requisite: AST 10200 (Science credit)
