Basic principles of the legal environment and the business world emphasizing ethics, U.S. judicial systems, contract and commercial law, business organizations and investor protections, employment and labor law, government regulations and the global environment. Provides students with the basic knowledge and understanding of legal concepts with actual case law, critical legal thinking and other practical applications. Prerequisites: BUS 10100 or BUS 10700.
