ENG 23100 American Literature After 1865(3 cr.) Lecture-Lab: (3-0) (W) This course is a survey of the growth and development of America’s literature from the Civil War to the present day. Representative authors may include Twain, James, Frost, Eliot, O’Neill, Hemingway, Faulkner, Welty, Bellow, and others. Prerequisite: Satisfactory (C- or above) completion of ENG 10303 or permission of instructor. (Humanities Credit - Literature)
